REQUEST PRE-OWNED STEINWAY & Bösendorfer INVENTORY LIST

Steinway & Sons RARE "Cut-Down" Model I

This rare Steinway Model I is an example of a popular modification made to tall upright pianos in the mid 1900's. Originally built in 1906, this Steinway was "Cut-Down" to modernize the cabinet! The legs, music desk, and other cosmetic features were added in addition to a slim mirror that covers the tuning pins to make the piano appear shorter than it was built.

The Steinway & Sons upright pianos are handcrafted to the highest standard of quality in the same factory as the grand pianos, using the same materials, techniques, conditioning processes and craftsmen. The only difference is that they are built in the vertical department, where those same processes are vertically oriented. The result lives up to the Steinway name in every respect.

This piano comes with Northwest Pianos 1 year parts and labor warranty.
