Windows fade wood finishes Windows, even north facing windows, fade the color of the wood on that side of the piano over time. |
Open or closed grain refinishing Open grain is a simple finish, leaving a textured surface to the finish. Closed grain is a more complex finish, filling the grain in order to create a totally smooth surface. |
Cosmetic choice for grand piano restoration Restoring the belly of a grand piano is often a choice made for improving the beauty of the piano, even though the piano may sound good beforehand. |
Action work perhaps doesn't need to be extensive Many piano owners desire to improve the beauty of their piano, but are happy with how the piano plays and sounds, so maybe only simple action maintenance is required. |

When I saw the piano, I couldn’t even talk, it is so beautiful and it sounds so beautiful. I want you to come & see it, it’s gorgeous, just gorgeous. Thank you, thank you.
